Mabe Studio

Apps that get straight to the point.

Mathieu and Benoit Bruynbroeck draw and code our two iOS apps, and we are the ones who answer when something breaks.

An app should get out of the way, not ask for your day.

Most everyday apps end up wanting more of your attention. A feed to scroll, a red badge on the icon, a weekly email nobody asked for. We stopped installing them.

Both of ours came out of an irritation rather than a meeting: a notebook nobody can read at 3am, and a suitcase packed blind the night before leaving.

Two apps, written because we needed them.

Petit Nid

Everything about your baby, in one place.

Sleep, meals, health: you log what matters one-handed, in the dark. The same journal is already up to date on the other parent’s phone, without texting each other the same things.

No advertising, no data resale. The journal is hosted in Ireland, on Supabase, and the planning follows what you actually logged, not an ideal day.

QuoiPorter

What do I wear today?

The app reads the weather and answers the real question first: light t-shirt, shorts, a cap. The numbers come after.

No account, no advertising, no tracking. Forecasts come from Open-Meteo and your location never leaves the phone.

Mabe is Mathieu and Benoit. The whole team fits inside the name.

The studio

Mabe Studio is a French company (SAS) founded by Mathieu and Benoit Bruynbroeck. Benoit designs and codes the apps, after more than ten years of development. Mathieu comes from strategy consulting and program management: he ran a finance program for a major retail group before advising and training teams.

We outsource nothing: the code and the support replies come out of the same room. We raise no money and we sell no data, so the studio lives off its apps, at its own pace, and we take the time to sweat the details.

Write to the studio

A bug to report, or just a question? We read everything, and we answer ourselves, usually within two working days.
